Request account deletion

In the app (fastest)

1. Open the Agni Pariksha app and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. We email a one-time passcode (OTP) to your registered email address. The code is valid for 10 minutes.
5. Enter the code to confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on every device.

By email (if you have uninstalled the app)

1. Send an email to info@agnipariksha.com.
2. Use the subject line "Delete my account".
3. Send it from the email address registered to your account (or include your registered email address or user code) so that we can verify the request.

We verify the request and then delete the account in the same way. We aim to complete email requests within 7 days, and in any case within 30 days.

Deletion is permanent.There is no grace period and no way to recover the account or your history afterwards. Any unused paid access — day-packs or mock-test access — is lost and is not refunded (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy). If you only want to stop notifications, you can turn them off in the app instead.

What is deleted

As soon as the deletion is confirmed, we:

• Anonymise your account record— your first and last name, email address, phone number, password hash, Google Sign-In link, user code and selected country, state and city are removed or replaced with non-identifying values.
• Delete your uploaded profile photo from our server, so its public URL stops working.
• Permanently delete your quiz activity— quiz attempts, your answers, scores, time taken, streaks and progress statistics.
• Permanently delete your mock-test activity— attempts, answers, marks and analysis records.
• Permanently delete your saved and bookmarked questions and your review list.
• Permanently delete your notification data— your in-app inbox and read records, your notification preferences, and the registered device (push) tokens for your devices, so we can no longer send notifications to you.
• Sign you out on every device immediately.

What is retained

We keep only the records of your payments— order and payment IDs, the amount and currency, what was purchased, and the date — together with the invoice/receipt records for those payments.

• Why: Indian tax and accounting law requires a business to keep records of its transactions.
• How long: 8 years from the date of the transaction.
• In what form:with your personal identifiers — name, email address, phone number and user code — removed, so the records can no longer be used to identify you.
• What we do with them: nothing except tax, accounting and audit. They are never used to contact you, profile you, or restore your account.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Any data Razorpay holds about your transaction is governed by Razorpay's own privacy policy and retention rules, and is not ours to delete.
